Uncle Howard's Barn Kit Assembly
Assembling an Uncle Howard's Barn Kit is very straightforward. Uncle Howard has designed the Barn Kits to be efficiently assembled by a builder, a barn raiser, or even by a homeowner with some fundamental carpentry skills.
The following pictures chronicle the construction of a stick built RV Garage.

The site has been cleared and prepared to install the foundation.

The forms are set and ready for concrete.

The concrete has been poured and the forms have been stripped. The slab is now ready for framing to begin.

Framing has been started and two side walls have been erected. Note that these walls are built standing up, and not on the ground, so you don't need a large crew.

The sidewall framing is completed and ready for posts and beams to be installed.

The posts and beams are installed.

The loft floor has been installed.

The RV Bay trusses have been intalled and the roof system is taking shape.

The roof system has been completed. The kit is now ready for siding and additional interior framing.

The bulk of the building has been sided, some battens have been installed, and flashing has been placed.

Most of the doors and windows have been installed, and the roof is ready to shingle.

The loft is complete and the building is now dry and tight. There is plenty of room for a bonus loft above the RV Bay later!

The building is now complete and ready for paint or stain.
